Doors that need mag locks, ADA operators or wireless locks can add $1,000 to $2,000 per opening. Reusing working door hardware and cabling is the biggest way to save. Comparing quotes

What a complete Brivo quote includes

  • Door hardware matched to each door: strikes, mag locks or wireless locks
  • Dedicated cabling to each controller

  • Request-to-exit and egress devices to code
  • Fire alarm interface where required

Five-year cost

Brivo vs an on-premises system over five years

Up front, Brivo and a traditional on-premises system cost about the same. Over five years, Brivo usually wins for multi-site and growing organizations once you count servers, software maintenance, IT time and the eventual server replacement. Since Brivo merged with Eagle Eye Networks, the Brivo Security Suite also pairs access control with cloud video. See access control as a service and Brivo.

FAQ

Brivo pricing questions

How much does Brivo cost per month?

At list, Standard edition is $10 per month plus $18.50 per reader for the first two doors, so a 2-door office runs about $47 per month. A 10-door building runs about $167 to $360 per month depending on edition.

How much does Brivo cost per door installed?

Typically $1,500 to $4,500 per door, with most standard office doors around $1,500 to $2,800. Doors needing new locks or ADA hardware cost more.

Is Brivo cheaper than a traditional system?

About the same up front. Over five years Brivo usually costs less for multi-site and growing organizations once servers and IT time are counted.

Can Brivo reuse our existing readers and wiring?

Often. A site walk shows what can be reused, which can cut the installed cost significantly. See our migration planning guide.

What's the difference between Standard, Professional and Enterprise?

Admin counts, identity integrations, API access and multi-site tools. Most single sites use Standard; multi-site portfolios usually justify Professional.

Does WCC support Brivo after installation?

Yes. We design, install and support Brivo, including subscription renewals.
